In compliance with the applicable regulations on the protection of personal data, the UNIVERSIDAD CATÓLICA SANTA TERESA DE JESÚS DE ÁVILA (hereinafter, the UCAV or the University) is committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy. The UCAV collects and processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 October 2018 on the protection of individuals about the processing of personal data by the institutions, bodies, offices and agencies of the Union, and on the free movement of such data.

Purpose

The UCAV will process your personal data for the purposes indicated below, about which you will have to be informed accordingly:

• Creation of MEDITELLER Project databases
• MEDITELLER Project Communications
• Development of the MEDITELLER Project Work Packages
• Development and implementation of the MEDITELLER Project Communication and Dissemination Plan.

To carry out this processing operation, the data controller collects the following categories of personal data:

1. The information you have entered on the legal entity form, as well as the supporting documents, you have provided.
2. The information you have entered on the financial identification sheet of the agreement between the partners, as well as any supporting documents you may have provided.

Data retention period

The personal data provided by you will be kept for the duration of the consent given by you (the duration and execution of the MEDITELLER Project), except in those cases in which UCAV is legally obliged to keep them.

To protect your personal data, UCAV has established a series of technical and organizational measures. Considering the nature of the personal data processed and the risk presented by their processing, the technical measures relate, among other things, to online security, the risk of data loss, data alteration and unauthorized access.

User Consent

The sending of personal data, using electronic forms through the MEDITELLER Project Website or, where appropriate, the sending of e-mail messages requesting information or services, implies the express consent of the User to the automated processing of the data provided, as well as to the sending of electronic communications with information about the activities of the UCAV.

Therefore, the User consents that the Personal Data provided or sent to UCAV be included in the Personal Data File and be subject to automated processing by UCAV for the purposes.

Communication of data

The data collected by UCAV shall not, in principle, be disclosed to third parties unless expressly informed of such disclosure and authorized by the owner of such data. Notwithstanding the above, the data may be communicated when legally appropriate.

Rights of the owners of the data
